April 4, 2008 College-bound members of SLFCU are invited to enter our 2008 Scholarship Competition. You are eligible if you are a new or returning student with a minimum 2.5 out of 4.0 GPA, and you will attend school full-time in a Bachelors or Masters program at an accredited institution. A letter of recommendation, resume, and a short essay must accompany your signed application. Your essay should be about 500 words in length exploring the theme “Who or what has inspired me to pursue a college education and why.” Previous winners are welcome to enter. Awards of $1,000, $750, $500 and $250 are available. Deadline is June 15, 2008. Pick up an application online or at any branch.
