From floods to forest fires to the September 11 terrorist attacks to Asian Tsunami relief and the tragedies that strike individuals and families every day. Red Cross relief workers are always on the scene early with essential aid when disaster strikes. The need to support the Red Cross is constant.
Follow this link to make a credit card donation directly to the Middle Rio Grande Chapter of the American Red Cross.
American Red Cross donation envelopes are also available in all SLFCU lobbies. You will receive a 501(c)(3) charitable organization receipt for donations made directly to the American Red Cross or the Mid Rio Grande Chapter.
Or you can use CU@home computer home banking to make a donation through SLFCU's American Red Cross account #1008880-00-01. When asked for the account last name, please enter "AMERICAN". Your account statement reflecting the transfer will be your only record of this transaction.
Or you can call the SLFCU Phone Center at 505-293-0500 or 1-800-947-5328 and make a transfer in any amount to the American Red Cross account. You may ask the Phone Representative to mail you the transaction receipt.
Please note that the Credit Union is not a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. If you need a receipt acceptable to the Internal Revenue Service for tax purposes, please make your donation as in #1 or #2, above.
