For the fastest service, please fill out an online account application. When we receive your application, we'll generate forms with your own unique account number that will require your physical signature.

Are you close to someone who does not belong to SLFCU? You can be the financial hero for your family members and eligible co-workers. They can apply online and mention your name in the appropriate box.
Why join SLFCU?
1. Safety for your money
The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF) insures federal credit unions up to $250,000 for share accounts and up to $250,000 for retirement accounts. (Please call us to learn more about your specific coverage.) SLFCU is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration, an independent agency of the federal government.
2. Loan advisors work for you, not for commissions
They won't "sell" you something to meet a quota. They will listen to your needs, explain options that meet them and save you money, too.
3. Lower loan rates and higher savings rates
As a not-for-profit, SLFCU returns more to you in loan rates, higher dividends and improved service. SLFCU service charges are rare, and are used to cover operating costs, not to generate large profits.
