Why am I limited to six unsigned savings withdrawals or transfers each month?
This limit is set by federal regulations which impact the funds that the Credit Union must hold in reserve. Members can only make a total of six unsigned withdrawals or transfers each month out of their savings accounts through the following methods:
- Automatic withdrawals or transfers
- Automatic overdraft transfers
- Online banking and automated phone system withdrawals or transfers
- Withdrawals or transfers initiated over the phone with a representative
Transfers or withdrawals made in person at a branch, by mail, or at an ATM do not count toward this limit. Members may make an unlimited number of deposit transfers into their savings accounts. Transfers or withdrawals from checking accounts are limited only by available funds.
