COVID-19 MASK UPDATE FOR SLFCU BRANCHES

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control recently announced that fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear a face mask in most settings, except where required by state and local laws. New Mexico’s Department of Health has adopted these guidelines in its most recent public health order. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series, or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine.

New Mexico branches
As of May 17, 2021, in SLFCU’s New Mexico locations where there is no local mask mandate, SLFCU members who are fully vaccinated may enter branches without a face mask. We do not require proof of vaccination, but ask for members’ and employees’ responsible and respectful cooperation.

California branches
As state and local mask mandates remain in place, SLFCU branches will continue to require all members and employees to continue to wear a face mask until further notice.

As always, SLFCU’s goal is to continue to provide a safe environment for our members and employees while following public health advice and applicable laws.

I’m expecting a stimulus payment. What do I need to know to get my direct deposit successfully?

In most cases, your stimulus payment will be deposited in the same account as your tax refund. When filing your taxes, there are important account number formatting and account ownership requirements when supplying your direct deposit information to the IRS on your tax forms. It is important to supply your account number using the formats on this page. In addition to helping you locate the correct format for your account numbers, you will also find SLFCU’s routing number and account ownership considerations in the “For tax refunds” section.

If you have specific questions regarding the stimulus payments, the IRS has put together a page with helpful information
