Skip a Payment on Select Loans

Skipping a loan payment can be helpful during high spending months like holidays or when you're faced with unplanned expenses. For a small fee, you can skip a monthly loan payment on select loans, resuming your regular payments the following month.

SLFCU allows members in good standing to skip up to two months’ payments per eligible loan in any rolling 12-month period. There is a $25 service charge per month that is added to the balance of the loan, and interest will continue to accrue on the loan. The Skip-a-Payment benefit is available for auto loans, signature loans and CreditLines, Share Secured loans and CreditLines, and student loans in repayment status (originated before 1/1/2011).

Requests to skip a monthly payment can be made by submitting the form below or at any branch and must be received at least three days prior to the payment due date.

Please note: credit cards, mortgages, Home Equity CreditLines, and single-pay loans are not eligible for skip-a-payment.

Yes, I'd like to skip-a-payment on my SLFCU loan(s). I understand that a $25 service charge will be added to my loan balance for each month skipped and interest will continue to accrue. I agree to continue making payments until my loan is paid in full. I understand that requests must be received at least three days prior to payment due date.
