Upgrade FAQs

Get answers to frequently asked questions about the online banking upgrade.

When will the upgrade happen?

The online banking upgrade will occur in the first quarter of 2018. As we get closer to the upgrade, we will announce a more specific timeframe.

Will the upgraded online banking system require an email address?

The new system will require a valid email address.

This is for your safety and security, to ensure that important messages and alerts reach you in a timely manner. If SLFCU has your email address, it will be displayed during your initial login; if we do not have a valid email address in our system, you will be prompted to provide one.

Will Business Online be upgraded as well?

Business Online is not changing at this time. Watch for information about a Business Online upgrade in late 2018.

Will online banking be unavailable during the upgrade? If so, for how long?

We do anticipate that online banking will be unavailable for a short period during the upgrade, although it is our goal to minimize downtime as much as possible. As we get closer to the upgrade, we’ll provide more details.

Will I need to download a new app?

You will need to download the new mobile app. Links will be available from the SLFCU website once online banking launches.

Will I need to change my username and password? NEW 1/25/2018
Your username and password will not change. You will use your current online banking username and password to access the new system.
What is balance peek?

Track your funds on the go. You can view available balances without signing in to the mobile app.

Will I need to set up all of my bills in the bill pay system again?

No, the bill pay system will remain the same.You do not need to set up billers or recurring payments. Any bill payments scheduled to be sent during the system downtime will be delivered.
