Equifax Breach Information
IMPACTED SLFCU CARDS IDENTIFIED; UPDATE 9.13.2017
SLFCU has determined that 36 SLFCU credit cards and debit cards were compromised in the breach; those cardholders are being contacted by representatives from our Card Services department.
EQUIFAX CYBERSECURITY INCIDENT
Equifax has announced a cybersecurity incident potentially impacting approximately 143 million U.S. consumers. Criminals exploited a U.S. website application vulnerability to gain access to certain files. The information accessed primarily includes names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, addresses and, in some instances, driver’s license numbers.
