Many SLFCU members have taken advantage of mobile deposit by scanning checks from their home computers or depositing checks via their mobile phones. Here are some tips to keep in mind as you deposit checks:
- Endorse (sign) your check before starting the deposit process.
- Use black ink to endorse the check – other colors, including blue, are not visible to the capture system and may cause errors.
- The system won’t accept third party checks – any check that has been signed over to another person – including checks made out to a child who then signed it over to a parent.
Mobile deposit is available to eligible members through the CU@home Mobile app.
