Help Kids Stay Warm This Winter!
Donate to our annual Kiwanis Coats for Kids Drive
From October 2 - 28, our Farmington branches will collect new or gently used coats for the Kiwanis Coats for Kids Drive, a program dedicated to helping local kids stay warm during the winter. Donations will be distributed on Saturday, November 11 at Farmington Civic Center to children referred to the Farmington Rio del Sol Kiwanis Club by teachers throughout San Juan County.
You can help by donating children’s coats at any of our three Farmington-area branches! Albuquerque- and Livermore, CA-area members can support this cause by making monetary donations at any SLFCU branch.
What is the Kiwanis Club?
The Farmington Rio Del Sol Kiwanis Club serves its community through philanthropic and fundraising projects. Through donations to their Coats for Kids Drive, approximately 400 new and gently used coats help keep San Juan County boys and girls stay warm during the cold winter months.
The Kiwanis Club also participates in various other service and fundraising projects in the Farmington area. To learn more, visit riodelsolkiwanis.com.
