Take a Frozen Turkey to the Credit Union Day
SLFCU and Sandia National Laboratories are partnering once again for their annual Take a Frozen Turkey to Work Day benefiting community food pantries. Select SLFCU branches will serve as drop-off sites for frozen turkey donations for food banks across New Mexico and in Livermore, California.
Please help! To donate, bring a frozen turkey to one of the New Mexico SLFCU branches listed below between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. MT on Tuesday, November 14:
- Juan Tabo
- Jefferson
- Cottonwood
- Edgewood
- Los Lunas
- Paseo
- Rio Rancho
- Animas Central
- Animas East
To donate in Livermore, bring a frozen turkey to our downtown branch between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. PT on Tuesday, November 14.
If you wish to participate without visiting a branch, you may also make a monetary donation online to Roadrunner Food Bank in central NM or the ECHO Food Bank in Farmington, NM. To make a monetary donation to the Tri-Valley Haven Food Pantry in Livermore, CA, click the link here, select fund “Haven Food Pantry”, and indicate Sandia for the gift reason.
