Introducing SLFCU’s Newest Branch Managers
Melody Gonzales, Edgewood Branch Manager
Melody began her career at SLFCU in March 2018 as a Teller and Financial Services Consultant, working her way to Financial Services Supervisor. She later became Branch Supervisor at SLFCU’s Juan Tabo branch, and then moved to the Paseo location as Branch Manager before joining the Edgewood branch.
“I’m looking forward to investing in our employees to help build confidence, knowledge, and success in their career paths,” says Melody. “Helping to achieve the Credit Union’s operational goals through memorable member experiences is an added bonus,” she adds.
Daisy Torrez, Cottonwood Branch Manager
Daisy joined SLFCU in May 2023 with 15 years of banking experience as a Teller, Loan Processor, New Account Representative, and Assistant Branch Manager. Along with her banking experience, she intends to use her sales background and operational skills to not only guide her team to success, but also to build strong relationships with SLFCU members.
